What is Real Easy and how does it work?
Real Easy gives you two ways to sell your home, without phoning round agents first: an Agent Pitch, where local agents pitch for your sale and you choose, or a Cash offer, where our property fund makes an offer to buy your home.
Agent Pitch: agents pitch, you choose
In an Agent Pitch, local agents pitch for the job of selling your home. Each pitch has a short video, the agent's estimate of what your home could sell for, and their commission. The pitches are revealed all at once, and we email you when they're ready, so the first pitch doesn't colour how you see the rest. You watch and rate them, then shortlist up to two agents at a time to meet. An agent only gets your name, mobile and email when you share them by adding that agent to your Shortlist. After you've met, you select one as your preferred agent and look over their agency agreement. Agents can't see your ratings, or which agents you've marked "Not for me".
Cash offer: an offer from our property fund
With a Cash offer, our property fund offers to buy your home, with no agents, commissions or open homes involved. Based on your property quiz answers, we send you a conditional offer, or tell you why we can't make one. The conditional offer is free, and neither of us is committed. If you'd like to go ahead, we firm up the number in stages until a final offer, and you can withdraw along the way if you change your mind.
Either, both or neither
Both ways to sell start the same way: search your address on G'day and answer a short property quiz about your place. Near the end you choose an Agent Pitch, a Cash offer, or both. If you'd rather not choose yet, pick Not right now and nothing is sent to anyone. If you choose one way to sell, the other stays on your property page for whenever you want it.
Good to know
Will agents start calling me?
No. Agents only hear about your property once you choose an Agent Pitch and submit your quiz, and they only get your contact details when you add them to your Shortlist. Your phone can stay blissfully quiet until you decide otherwise.
Can I have an Agent Pitch and a Cash offer at the same time?
Yes. You can run both for the same property, and weigh our offer against what the agents estimate.
